Sell software the trade
already trusts
SoftTrade builds ERP for mandi traders, distributors, brokers and film distributors. If you already sell to those businesses — hardware, Tally, accounting, IT services — our software fits the customers you have.
Why partner with us
The pitch is not another generic accounting package. It is software built for one trade at a time, which is what makes it sellable to people who have already said no to everything else.
Software written for a specific trade
Mandi ERP, ChalChitra ERP, FMCG ERP, BrokWin ERP and TradeWin ERP each handle the paperwork of one business — kaanta parchi, patti, bardana, commission, film settlements. Demos land because the screens already look like the customer's day.
A market nobody is servicing properly
Wholesale mandis, mills, cold storage, distributors and commission agents in tier-2 and tier-3 towns. Most of them run on a hand-written register or a package that never fit. They buy from a local face they can call, which is where you come in.
Recurring, not one-and-done
Licences renew, users get added, and every installation carries training, data migration and hardware around it. The first sale is the smallest part of what a good partner earns from an account.
You are not left to sell alone
Product and sales training, a demo licence, and our team on the call with you for the deals you want backup on — in English or Hindi, whichever the customer speaks.
Three ways to partner
Pick the one that matches how you already work. Partners often start on referral and move to reselling once they have sold a few.
Reseller partner
You own the customer relationship in your city or region — you sell, you bill, you stay the point of contact. We back you on product, pricing and escalations.
- Sell SoftTrade licences under an agreed margin on new sales and on renewals
- Demo licence and product training for your sales team
- Leads we receive from your area routed to you
- Our team joins your demos and closing calls when you ask
Implementation partner
You do the work around the software — installation, chart of accounts, opening balances, data migration from the old system, and training the staff who will actually use it.
- You keep what you bill the customer for implementation and training
- Training on setup, migration and the GST and accounting side
- Direct line to our support team for anything you cannot resolve
- Work our accounts in your city, or bring your own
Referral partner
You introduce us and step back. We run the demo, the negotiation and the onboarding, and you earn on what closes.
- Introduce a business, we take it from there
- Agreed commission on every referral that converts
- No targets, no minimum, no obligation to sell anything
- You are told where your referral stands, not left guessing
What you get from us
The same things our own sales team works with.
Training on the product and the pitch
Structured sessions on each ERP, the objections that come up in the trade, and how to run a demo that ends in a decision.
A demo licence of your own
A working installation with sample data, so you can show the software from your own laptop instead of borrowing a screen share.
Collateral in Hindi and English
Brochures, feature sheets and comparison material written for the trade, not translated word-for-word from an English brochure.
Technical backup that answers
A named contact for escalations, and our engineers on the line for migrations and installations that go sideways.
Leads from your territory
Enquiries that reach us from the area you cover are passed to you rather than worked around you.
Terms in writing before you start
Margin, commission, territory and renewal share are agreed and documented in the partner agreement — not settled invoice by invoice.
Who this works for
We would rather have twenty partners who sell than two hundred on a list. A good fit usually looks like this:
- You already sell to traders, distributors, mills, cold storage or brokers — or you serve them as their accountant or IT vendor
- You have a physical presence in the town or district you want to cover, and customers can reach you
- A registered firm with GST, so licences and commissions can be billed properly
- Someone on your side who can handle first-line questions instead of forwarding every call to us
- You are in this past the first sale — renewals and referrals are where the programme pays
Missing one of these is not a rejection. Tell us on the form and we will work out whether it matters.
How it works
Four steps, and no money changes hands before step three.
- 1
Send the form
Tell us who you are, where you work and which track interests you. It takes two minutes.
- 2
Intro call
A conversation about your customers, your territory and what you want out of it. This is where commercials get discussed against your actual situation.
- 3
Agreement and training
Terms in writing, then product and sales training with a demo licence set up in your name.
- 4
Start selling
You go to market with our team behind you, and leads from your area start routing to you.
Questions partners ask
Do I need to be a software company to partner?
No. Some of the best-placed partners are accountants and hardware dealers who already sit with the trade every week. The referral and implementation tracks exist precisely for people who are not software sellers.
Is there a joining fee or a purchase commitment?
Any commercial condition — fee, commitment or target — is stated in the partner agreement before you sign, and there is none you are asked to accept over the phone. What applies depends on the track and the territory, which is what the intro call is for.
What margin or commission do partners earn?
It varies by track, by product and by whether you handle implementation and first-line support yourself. We quote it against your specific situation on the intro call and then put it in writing, rather than publishing a slab here that would not hold for every case.
Do you give exclusive territory?
Territory is discussed case by case. What we will not do is sign two partners onto the same set of customers and let them undercut each other.
Which cities are you looking for partners in?
Anywhere in India with a working wholesale market, mandi, mill or distribution base. Our own presence is strongest in Rajasthan, so partners matter most outside it.
Who supports the customer after the sale?
You handle first-line questions — the how-do-I ones — and we take product bugs, migrations and anything technical you escalate. Implementation partners who want to own more of the support are welcome to.
How long does it take to get started?
From application to a signed agreement and completed training is usually a couple of weeks, most of which is scheduling. We come back on an application within a few working days.
I already sell another ERP. Is that a problem?
Not by itself. Tell us what you carry and where it fits, and we will be straight with you about whether ours competes with it or completes it.
